This research was conducted in the ARCH 280 course American Architecture and Urbanism as a contribution to the New Haven Building Archive. The full archive can be viewed here.

This research, documented in the booklet below, involved doing desk research, looking up maps at the Whitney Library at the New Haven Museum, meeting with parishioners and staff at the St. Michael’s Ukrainian church, visiting the church museum, and walking the grounds. It spans the physical description, urban, social, and site context, and the usage of the site.
